Alan graduated with his undergrad and master's in family financial planning from the University of Georgia and decided to start his own firm at the young age of 25. He met Michael Kitces, CFP®, and decided to start a side project in 2014, XY Planning Network, to help aspiring advisors start their own firms. To their surprise, the business took off and it now represents over 1,700 advisory firms.
